Slow Cooker Beef And Mooli Noodle Soup

This beef bone broth is a three ingredient super easy recipe - all you need is some stewing beef, 1 large mooli and some ginger. DONE.

 500 g stewing steak
 1 large mooli
 2 inch thick ginger peeled and sliced into pieces
 1 portion flat rice noodles per person
 salt to taste
 cracked pepper to serve

First bring to boil water in a pan and add the stewing steak. Let the meat simmer until you get all the gunk out of the meat and the meat is cooked through. Rinse the meat through and add add more boiling water to the stock pot and re-add the meat. This is an important step so you get a beautiful clear bone broth.

Peel and slice the mooli into large chunks and add to the pot. Peel the ginger and slice into pieces and also add to the pot.

Once the broth comes to a boil, transfer to a slow cooker and cook for 6-8 hours. I generally keep the slow cooker on high for 2 hours and then the rest of the time on low heat but you can leave it on a low heat the whole time.
